***A NOTE FROM LORI*** My business involves providing home baked goods for my customers, according to the Commonwealth of Virginia's cottage food laws and regulations which you can learn more about by visiting: https://www.vdacs.virginia.gov/pdf/kitchenbillfaq.pdf I bake out of my home and customers do not come to my home. There is no stock or "on hand" items for walk-up sales. There are no walk-up sales at this time. Orders are not baked until they are paid in full, no exceptions. Please use https://bakedbylori.com to place your orders. ***PAYING FOR YOUR ORDERS*** During the ordering process on my website, I am able to take electronic payments for your orders. If you cannot provide electronic payments, you can either prepay with cash by visiting me at my weekly drop location on Fridays from 4-445pm OR we will schedule a time during daylight hours where we can meet at Starbucks (either the one on 46900 Community Plaza, Sterling, VA 20164 or the one in the North Point Shopping Center in 20194). I will provide you with a written receipt on the spot. No orders will be baked until after they are paid in full. I do not take partial payments or deposits. I do not use Zelle or Venmo. ***RETURN POLICY*** If for any reason there is a problem with your order, a refund may be given at Lori's discretion and decided on a case by case scenario. ***REFERRALS*** If you refer any customers to me, please be sure to let me know BEFORE they place their order - I will provide you both with a discount code as a "thank you" for helping support my local, woman-owned business. ***SHIPPING*** All orders will be shipped unless they are qualified delivery orders, please see the DELIVERY OPTIONS section below. I can ship to any location within Virginia. I use the USPS to ship your items - if there are any problems with your order getting damaged in transit or not showing up, please submit a complaint to: https://www.usps.com/help/contact-us.htm AND PLEASE BE SURE TO LET ME KNOW. I cannot be held responsible for their errors but I rely on them to fulfill my shipping orders - if they are messing up, I want to know about it so I can find a new courier if needed. ***DELIVERY OPTIONS*** FREE DELIVERY is available for all $50+ orders to locations listed below. ***FREE DELIVERY FOR LOCAL TEACHERS & STAFF*** During school hours, I am honored to provide FREE delivery for the teachers and staff employed at the following area schools: Herndon Elementary School, Herndon Middle School, Herndon High School, Dranesville Elementary School, Clearview Elementary School, Armstrong Elementary School and Aldrin Elementary School! With your permission, I will leave your order in the front office with office staff - please let them know ahead of time that your order will be dropped off. I will not be responsible if your order is then lost or stolen. If you are gifting an order for a teacher or staff member at the school, please be sure to give me that person's name so the office staff can be sure to let him or her know. NO AFTER HOURS DELIVERIES WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL. ***FREE DELIVERY FOR LOCAL POLICE AND FIRE*** I will provide FREE delivery to the Herndon Police Station (on Herndon Parkway), Reston Police Station (on Cameron Glen Dr), North Point Fire Station (on Reston Ave) and the Herndon Fire Station (on Spring St) during daylight hours only. If you are gifting an order for an employee of the police station or fire department, please be sure to give me that person's name so they can be sure to let him or her know. NO AFTER HOURS DELIVERIES WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL. ***FREE DELIVERY TO CHURCHES*** I will provide FREE delivery to churches located within zip codes 20170 and 20194 during daylight hours only. Please reach out to me directly so I can personally work with you to schedule a day and time for delivery - I am happy to deliver at custom times for your church services, events and meetings. NO AFTER HOURS DELIVERIES WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL.
